Gabriella Papadakis said it was her “worst nightmare” as the French dancer encounters wardrobe malfunction on live TV
Nip slip aired live
Ed Sheeran’s Shape of You just played when Gabriella Papadakis became aware that people were about to check out a whole lot more shape than she had planned. Papadakis’ glittering emerald costume had unhooked at the neckline and left her left breast exposed. Live on television around the world, including on CBC in Canada.
The broadcaster tweeted right after that they were broadcasting the event with “no tape delay.”
Hi Leah. We aired this event live with no tape delay and the replay packages are provided to us by the host broadcaster. We will be removing these moments from our re-broadcasts

“I felt it right away and I prayed,”
As her clasp unhooked, the 22-year old skater held up her outfit making sure she was still in sync with her partner. Her near-perfect program with Guillaume Cizeron was about to join Janet Jackson in sports wardrobe malfunctions.
“I felt it right away and I prayed,” Papadakis said. “That’s about what I could do.”
The French duo kept things together through most of their Latin program. The couple scored 81.93. This left them behind Canadian stars Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir.
Check out the uncensored routine below.
And @CBCOlympics just showed Gloria Papadakis’ nipple in 4K slow motion while commentators said “thankfully there were enough straps to keep everything in place”. #PyongChang2018 pic.twitter.com/DEAHmkbRof
