Updated: Enzo Amore Released by WWE Following Allegations of Sexual Assault

WWE has suspended Enzo Amora (Eric Arndt) indefinitely.


Arndt allegedly raped a woman last fall

A woman revealed on her Twitter account of what went down with Arndt last fall. In the tweet, she stated that she was in a hotel with Arndt and two other males. She referred to them as Arndt’s accomplices. The woman said she was on weed, coke and meth and went into a state of psychosis. That is when the two males left Arndt with her.

The woman also added that she was in a mental hospital for 45 days after the rape and she reported the incident before going to the emergency room tow days after it took place.

Pro Wrestling Sheet confirmed with the Phoenix Police Department that a woman indeed filed a report and that the incident is under investigation.

WWE posted the followings statement:

WWE has zero tolerance for matters involving sexual harassment or sexual assault. Until this matter is resolved, Eric Arndt (aka Enzo Amore) has been suspended.



In a statement posted Tuesday afternoon, WWE confirmed that they have “come to terms on the release of Eric Arndt (Enzo Amore).”
